Step One
Lay the diaper flat with the fleece side up. |
Step Two
Fold the diaper up as far as needed for size of baby; more for infant, less for toddler. Fold it up in front for a boy, fold the back down for a girl.
(Shown: Folded up in front.) |
Step Three
Fold one-third of the diaper over lengthwise. |
Step Four
Fold the remaining one-third over lengthwise. |
Step Five
Unfold the back part of the diaper as shown. |
Step Six
Now, unfold the other back part as shown.
It will look like angel wings. |
Step Seven
Lie the baby on the diaper and pull the folded part of the diaper up between his/her legs. |

Fastening with a Snappi(R)
Take the Snappi(R) and hook it into either the right or left side of the diaper. (Either side is okay to start on; it just depends on personal preference.) |
Fastening with Snappi(R): Part Two
Using the finger-hole, grasp the Snappi(R) and pull it across the diaper and hook it into the opposite side. Then, grasp the middle part of the Snappi(R) and pull it down to grasp the middle portion of the diaper.
(Note: We found that the Snappi(R) takes a little practice but is absolutely wonderful and well worth the small effort!!) |
Fold the Sides.
Lastly, fold in each side of the diaper at the outer leg opening. This folded part will act as a gusset to prevent leakage.
You're Done!!
(Please Note: Diapering baby will get easier and faster with a few diaper changes. We know one dad who initially refused to use cloth diapers but currently loves them!!) |
